Leanne Fletcher Morgan was born on October 3, 1965. She is an American comedian, actress, and author. She released her first Netflix comedy special, Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman, in 2023.
Morgan grew up in Adams, Tennessee, in a farming family. Her family operated a pig processing plant. She attended Jo Byrns High School, where she graduated with the class of 1983, and later earned a degree in child and family studies from the University of Tennessee.
After having her first baby, Morgan stayed busy working as a jewelry saleswoman. While doing door-to-door sales, she began talking about motherhood and joking with clients who related to her humor. Eventually, they began hiring her for comedy performances. Her first comedy special on YouTube garnered over 50 million views in 2023. Her Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman, ranked among the top 10 comedy specials on the platform.
On September 24, 2024, Leanne published her first book, titled What in the World?! A Southern Woman's Guide to Laughing at Life's Unexpected Curves and Beautiful Blessings.
She is managed by Levity Talent and represented by United Talent Agency. Morgan married at 21 but ended an abusive relationship. At 26, she married Chuck Morgan, whom she met at the University of Tennessee. After getting married, they moved to Bean Station, where Chuck owned and operated a used mobile home business. Leanne and her family later moved to San Antonio, Texas, and then to Knoxville, Tennessee.
