Zamia Fandiño is an Internationally recognized Artist and Actress; who has worked as an actress in various countries besides her native Mexico, including Canada, U.S.A., Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France, U.K, and Egypt; venturing in theater, film, and television in equal measure.
Among the feature films she has appeared in are "Suave Patria" (Sweet Homeland), "Cantinflas", "Un padre no tan padre" (Not Such A Cool Dad" and "El Lado Oscuro de la luz" (The Dark Side Of Light", "Fandango".
In television, she has taken part in over 20 projects, including "Bienes Raices" (Real Estate), "XY, La Revista", "XY the Magazine", "Capadocia", "Plateados" (Silvered), "Todos Somos Bibi" (We Are All Bibi", "Preso 1" (Prisoner 1) and "Perseguidos" (Chased) in which her starring participation garnered her a great deal of popularity and recognition in the United States.
In the year 2016 she was awarded a Star for best actress for her role in the theatrical play "Prófugo" (Fugitive), written and directed by Juan Ríos Cantú.
Nowadays, we can see her performing in "Preso 1" in the character of Gina, produced by Argos and starred by Erik Hayser for Telemundo.
She will soon appear in the upcoming film "La Llorona", a Mexican-Canadian co-production directed by Patricia Harris Seeley, acting alongside Danny Trejo and Autumn Reeser as the main character of the movie.
