Dutch Marich

Dutch Marich is an American filmmaker, writer, producer, and editor best known for creating the Horror in the High Desert series. Raised in rural Nevada, Marich built a strong following within the found footage community through his slow-burn mockumentary style, blending realistic interviews, regional folklore, and investigative horror. His work on Horror in the High Desert 2: Minerva, Horror in the High Desert 3: Firewatch, and Horror in the High Desert 4: Majesty helped establish the franchise as one of the most acclaimed modern found footage series of the 2020s. Marich is currently developing the fifth and reportedly final installment in the series, widely rumored to be titled Horror in the High Desert 5: Mantis.
