Warner Bros. International Enterprises, or WB Games, is a video game production studio, an arm of Warner Bros. It develops, licenses and distributes entertainment content for every platform, including consoles, handhelds, and mobile phones. WB Games mostly produce titles based on DC Comics. It is known for purchasing other small or bankrupt studios. For example, in 2009, it bought independent developer Snowblind Studios and most of the assets of Midway Games. It resulted in WB ownership to the rights to the Joust, Mortal Kombat, The Suffering, Spy Hunter and Wheelman series. In 2010, WB merged with Midway Games to form NetherRealm Studios. In 2017, it acquired Playdemic studio to make Lego games for mobiles.
