Avalanche Studios

Avalanche Studios (also known as Fatalist Development AB) is a Swedish video game developer based in Stockholm and a subsidiary of a Danish entertainment company Nordisk Film. The company is best-known for its Just Cause series of open-world action games. The original Just Cause released in 2006 was the company’s debut project. It became met mixed reception from critics and had moderate sales. In 2010, a sequel, Just Cause 2, was released. It claimed to be a project that took account of its predecessor mistakes and built upon its base. Through, the games’ slow initial sales, by the February 2014 it sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. The third entry came out in 2015. Aside from Just Cause, Avalanche Studios is also known for its series of hunting simulators theHunter and 2015 action-adventure game Mad Max based on the franchise of the same name.
