Devolver Digital is a video game developer based in America specializing on indie titles. The primary association with the company is the two-titles series Hotline Miami and Serious Sam. The latter one illustrates the role of a publisher in the game. However, without a rich developing history, the organization is principally known for facetious discomfitures and jesting gaming conferences like E3 2017 where Devolver has set the most mocking presentation, featuring no genuine announcements at all, but played out a mocking piece instead with monitor for donations chopping limbs off and 'Earliest Access' concept obviously daring the Early Access alphas. Mentioning the risking nature of the team, the figure of Fork Parker needs to be mentioned — he is the fictional chief financial officer and was included in games' promotions and even ending titles. The joke has become viral, and Devolver listed Parker as an employee and added him in the games as an Easter egg.
